How did this idea come about?

Quite simply, two blokes who had just met were discussing the fires and how difficult it was going to be for people to rebuild their lives.

If we can generate enough interest from corporations and every day Aussies to volunteer with their trade for at least one week, we will then approach the government for assistance with working out the details. It's important that you register today so we can get to work with the Federal, State and Local Governments.

For Individuals:

We are asking you to register your interest and set aside one week to help with the rebuilding effort.

Now is the time for all Tradesmen in Australia to come together and lend a hand rebuilding Victoria from the devastating bushfires.

We don't want you just showing up in Vic with your tools asking where you need to go.  This will need to be a well coordinated effort.

For Corporations:

We are not asking you to donate everything.  But we all know that one of the biggest expenses is the cost of labour.  We are doing our best to provide that at no charge to the people of Victoria.

You can help with your resources whether they are people, or supplies.
